Gretchen has been with Farm Credit of Southern Colorado since May 1995. She started on the operations side, but after a short time there, she switched to lending and has been there ever since as a loan officer. She loves working with the producers to build their operation and to help them understand the business side of agriculture.
Growing up on a dryland wheat operation outside of Hugo, CO started her passion for agriculture. It was a local neighbor that hired her to go on a harvesting crew throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado that made her realize her true love was agriculture.
Following college graduation, Gretchen married her high school sweetheart and moved back to Hugo. She recently became an empty nester, but feels she is busier than ever keeping up with her husband and 3 children’s activities. Gretchen also enjoys spending family time at the lake in Nebraska.
