Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 semester. The chosen candidate will receive an opportunity to gain important and practical job skills to be successful in both the financial services and agricultural industries.
This position is part-time, working approximately no more than 30 hours a week. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting a wide variety of Marketing Communications materials to promote campaigns, events and programs (e.g., resource links, internal tools, photos, or other multimedia, etc.
- Gain exposure to a variety of marketing technologies, such as CRM, marketing automation, design tools, social media advertising, and analytics.
- Responsible for collaborating and assisting the marketing communications team in planning and executing the marketing and communications efforts to promote via earned media or paid media strategies, programs, campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide ideas to support strategic marketing, public relations, and corporate communications.
- Assist in managing social media accounts for Farm Credit of Southern Colorado platforms
Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or other related field. Must be in good standing academically with a minimum 3.0 GPA and have a minimum of one semester remaining prior to receiving a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Experience with social media management.
- Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfortable with working with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to be professional in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
- Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative
- Skill in oral and written communication, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and management.
- Skill in behaving in a manner consistent with the values of the organization
- Skill in maintaining confidentiality with employee personal identifiable information.

Pay Rate: $25/hr.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. In addition, benefits for this position include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, tax advantage accounts, paid vacation, sick leave and parental leave.
