POSITION: Loan Officer
LOCATION: Limon, Colorado
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Loan Officer to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with borrowers, servicing financial loans, initiating loan origination and servicing processes, and reviewing credit write-ups, decisions, and loan actions within individual and team authority levels.
This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Position Summary:
The Loan Officer I develops and maintains relationships with borrowers, identifies financial tools which provide value to borrower’s business, gathers complete loan applications, initiates loan origination and servicing processes, reviews credit write-ups, decisions, and loan actions within individual and team authority levels, and services financial loans.
Responsibilities:
Marketing and Relationship Management
• Creates and maintains relationships with borrowers
• Identifies opportunities to create new relationships
• Communicates value of Association products and services to new and existing borrowers
• Hosts events for new and existing borrowers
• Attends conferences and events to market to new and existing borrowers
Loan Origination and Renewals
• Interviews and gathers application information from borrowers
• Initiates origination and servicing processes in loan software
• Enters customer information, loan details and financial information into loan software
• Delegates work to Credit Support Specialists
• Collaborates with supervisor and peers to discuss options available for borrowers
• Contacts external parties to finalize details for loan closing
• Orders and reviews appraisals
• Informs borrowers of loan decisions
Credit Analysis
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of loan package and financial information presented by borrowers
• Reviews financial analysis and credit write-ups
• Identifies risk rating
• Approves loans within individual and team authority levels
• Refers loans outside credit authority levels to the Central Loan Committee
Loan Closing
• Reviews loan documents prior to closing
• Administers loan closings to ensure complete execution of loan documents
• Delivers executed documents to Operations Team
Portfolio Monitoring and Servicing
• Monitors loan portfolio for customer delinquency
• Addresses loan delinquency according to established policy and procedure
• Responds to customer requests and questions related to loans
• Collects annual financial information and initiates annual financial reviews
• Evaluates borrower collateral/chattel annually
• Approves servicing actions within delegated authority
Chattel Evaluations
• Inspects and evaluates collateral to identify condition, accessibility and marketability
• Researches comparable sales
• Documents findings
• Coordinates chattel inspections & appraisals with Appraisal department
Education
• Completes continuing education related to credit philosophies, policies and procedures, and regulations
• Completes training regarding Association or software/hardware changes
Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business administration, finance, accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
• Driver’s license required
• General knowledge of agricultural operations
• General knowledge of agricultural markets
• General knowledge of financial statements and mathematical concepts
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and methods
• Working knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook sufficient to create, update and save basic documents
• Skill in oral and written communication, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and borrowers
• Skill in establishing and maintaining productive relationships within and outside of organizations
• Skill in gathering, compiling and organizing information
• Skill in listening closely to understand the speaker’s intent
• Skill in interacting and working effectively with others
• Skill in focusing and concentrating on details
• Skill in applying processes and procedures to factual data to make a logical decision

Salary Range: $75,000-$120,000. Seniority and accompanying compensation will be dependent upon level of experience and knowledge.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. POSITION: Help Desk Support Tech Posting
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Help Desk Support Tech to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users across the organization. This role serves as the initial point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of service requests while delivering a high level of customer service.
The technician will follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), assist with endpoint and identity management tasks, and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed. This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency, system availability, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Our program allows students to spend time learning at FCSC while completing their degree.

Medical Care
Optional medical coverage provides three options of coverage through BlueCross/Blue Shield of Illinois with HSA & FSA options and telemedicine services.
Dental Care
Choose between Basic and Comprehensive dental plans provided by Delta Dental of Kansas. The basic plan provides benefits for diagnostic services, preventive, and basic care. The comprehensive plan provides basic coverage as well as more extensive dental care including orthodontia.
Vision Care Plan
Managed vision care available through Vision Service Plan. Select coverage for eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

Two FCSC locations have in-office gyms. Employees who report to offices without gyms are eligible for reimbursement to cover the cost of gym/fitness memberships up to a certain amount.

Long-Term Disability
This benefit is provided by Farm Credit of Southern Colorado at no cost to the employee. In the event an employee becomes disabled, they are eligible to collect 66.67% of current monthly base salary.
Business Travel Insurance
Employer-paid insurance covers accidental death or dismemberment that may occur while traveling on company business. Coverage is equal to three times an employee’s total compensation.
Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Employer-paid insurance at one times an employee’s total compensation.
Group Universal Life Insurance
Optional coverage for up to 10 times your total compensation for yourself, or up to $250,000 for your spouse.
Dependent Life Insurance
Optional coverage for eligible dependent children up to $25,000.
Optional Employee Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Optional coverage for an additional one times your total compensation.
Voluntary (Employee-Paid) Benefits

Full-time employees accrue a minimum of 15 days annual leave depending on years of service and job grade
Full-time employees accrue 15 days of sick leave per year

Annual Bonus
