Colorado Springs, Colo. – Farm Credit of Southern Colorado is pleased to announce a $5,000 donation to the Howard Volunteer Fire Department.
The Howard Volunteer Fire Department was instrumental in fighting the Hayden Pass Fire.
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado made a $2,500 donation, which was matched by wholesale bank CoBank, through their Sharing Success program. CoBank’s Sharing Success program allows CoBank to partner with their cooperative customers, like Farm Credit of Southern Colorado, to help build vibrant rural communities.
“We genuinely appreciate the efforts made by the Howard Volunteer Fire Department to protect our friends, neighbors and borrowers from the Hayden Pass Fire,” said Jennifer Meis, Farm Credit of Southern Colorado, Relationship Manager. “We chose to support this exceptional organization due to their unwavering commitment to their community.”
