POSITION: Content Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Up to 40% travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Position Summary:
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado is seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Content Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated content initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, generate qualified leads, and support the organization’s long-term growth strategy across Southern and Eastern Colorado.
This role will help shape how the association tells the story of agriculture, rural communities, and customer success through compelling multimedia content, campaign execution, digital engagement, and owned media channels. The Content Marketing Manager will play a central role in supporting enterprise go-to-market initiatives, Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, customer experience priorities, and the “We Farm This Land” brand platform.
The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling ability with strategic marketing expertise, understands how content drives business growth, and can translate complex agricultural finance topics into engaging and accessible communications.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Content Development
Develop and execute quarterly integrated content marketing plans and strategies aligned to organizational growth priorities.
Lead content planning and editorial calendars across campaigns, seasonal priorities, customer journeys, and brand initiatives.
Support enterprise marketing initiatives including:
“We Farm This Land” campaign development and amplification
Highlighting the rich subject-matter expertise and experience of Farm Credit of Southern Colorado’s lending, insurance, and rural first teams.
Customer experience and engagement programs
Lead generation and nurturing campaigns
Rural community storytelling
Recruitment and employer branding initiatives
Ensure all content reflects the mission, values, and voice of Farm Credit of Southern Colorado and its strategic messaging framework.
Campaign & Digital Marketing Execution
Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across:
Email marketing
Social media
Website and landing pages
Video and podcast content
Digital advertising
Organic and paid content distribution
Partner closely with marketing leadership to support strategic go-to-market initiatives and audience segmentation efforts.
Collaborate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud stakeholders to develop automated content journeys, lead nurturing workflows, and campaign assets.
Optimize content for SEO, digital engagement, and conversion performance.
Storytelling & Brand Development
Identify and elevate compelling customer, producer, and community stories across Southern and Eastern Colorado.
Conduct interviews and develop written, video, and multimedia content highlighting:
Agriculture and rural lifestyles
Customer success stories
Industry insights and trends
Association expertise and thought leadership
Support the VP of Strategic Marketing with expanding executive visibility initiatives, including CEO and leadership communications, LinkedIn content, and thought leadership opportunities.
Maintain strong brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
Monitor campaign and content performance using analytics platforms and CRM reporting tools.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve:
Audience engagement
Lead conversion
Website traffic
Content effectiveness
Marketing ROI
Build and present regular performance reporting to marketing leadership.
Use customer data and behavioral insights to inform future content planning and strategy.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership & Event Management
Partner with business development, operations, finance, HR, and executive leadership teams to align messaging and communications priorities.
Coordinate with external creative agencies, media partners, freelancers, photographers, and videographers as needed.
Support organizational events, community outreach efforts, and strategic sponsorship activations, including leading the FCSC swag and giveaway inventory management process for organizational events, new hires, and other giveaway opportunities.
Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Agriculture Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or brand strategy.
Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and content calendars.
Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Strong understanding of social media strategy, SEO, email marketing, and digital analytics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifying Characteristics:
Experience in agriculture, rural banking, financial services, or cooperative organizations.
Video production, photography, podcasting, or multimedia storytelling experience
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, and digital advertising tools.
Experience building customer journey content strategies and lead generation funnels
Knowledge of Colorado agriculture and rural communities

Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. In addition, benefits for this position include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, tax advantage accounts, paid vacation, sick leave and parental leave.

Medical Care
Optional medical coverage provides three options of coverage through BlueCross/Blue Shield of Illinois with HSA & FSA options and telemedicine services.
Dental Care
Choose between Basic and Comprehensive dental plans provided by Delta Dental of Kansas. The basic plan provides benefits for diagnostic services, preventive, and basic care. The comprehensive plan provides basic coverage as well as more extensive dental care including orthodontia.
Vision Care Plan
Managed vision care available through Vision Service Plan. Select coverage for eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
Gym Access/Fitness Reimbursement
Two FCSC locations have in-office gyms. Employees who report to offices without gyms are eligible for reimbursement to cover the cost of gym/fitness memberships up to a certain amount.
FCSC offers 3% and matches up to an additional 6% of your 401k contribution, fully vested after 4 years.
Long-Term Disability
This benefit is provided by Farm Credit of Southern Colorado at no cost to the employee. In the event an employee becomes disabled, they are eligible to collect 66.67% of current monthly base salary.
Business Travel Insurance
Employer-paid insurance covers accidental death or dismemberment that may occur while traveling on company business. Coverage is equal to three times an employee’s total compensation.
Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Employer-paid insurance at one times an employee’s total compensation.
Group Universal Life Insurance
Optional coverage for up to 10 times your total compensation for yourself, or up to $250,000 for your spouse.
Dependent Life Insurance
Optional coverage for eligible dependent children up to $25,000.
Optional Employee Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Optional coverage for an additional one times your total compensation.
Voluntary (Employee-Paid) Benefits
Voluntary enrollment in Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Identity Theft Insurance
Full-time employees accrue a minimum of 15 days annual leave depending on years of service and job grade
Full-time employees accrue 15 days of sick leave per year
Full-time employees are allocated two mental health days
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado typically recognizes 12 paid holidays through the year
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado recognizes and allows for medical leave, military leave, funeral leave in the event of death of a relative, and leave for court service, jury duty and other circumstances that require employees to be absent for reasons other than their own illnesses or injuries.
Annual Bonus
Team members are eligible to receive an annual bonus based on individual, team and organizational business results
Educational Assistance
Full-time employees with at least one year of tenure qualify for FCSC’s tuition reimbursement program, which covers costs of career-related courses.
